In this collection, I explored how typography can move, speak, and tell stories. Each project pushed me to think about type not just as design, but as a dynamic character—something that could reflect emotion, build brand identity, or even narrate a personal story. From looping GIFs to full-motion sequences with video and sound, these pieces allowed me to experiment with timing, tone, and creativity in ways that static work simply can’t. This section captures my growth as both a designer and storyteller in motion.
Glass Half Full

Animated GIF | Selected for Juried Student Art Show
A simple glass of water becomes a statement on optimism—my name drops in like ice cubes, turning the glass “half full.” This was our first assignment, and a great challenge in using animation to reflect something personal.

Campbell’s Soup

Animated GIF | Call to Action Project
This looping alphabet soup animation brings a familiar brand to life with swirling alphabet noodles and a gentle nudge to “shop now.” The assignment pushed us to explore brand storytelling through motion and repetition.

Fiji.Travel
Motion Ad | Type, Video, & Sound
This ad was created as part of an assignment to design a commercial using typography, video, and sound. I chose Fiji.travel because it represents my dream destination. The goal was to evoke a sense of serenity and adventure through smooth transitions, clean type, and immersive sound. This project taught me how to balance visual rhythm with emotional tone—using type not just to inform, but to transport.

Where’s Mom?
Final Project | Personal Title Sequence
The final project asked us to make a title sequence about our lives. Naturally, mine had to ask the real question echoing through my house at all hours: Where’s Mom? This piece is a love letter to the beautiful chaos of motherhood, identity, and trying to drink your coffee while it’s still hot. With punchy pacing, playful type, and a wink of humor, it captures the wild ride of parenting—with just enough creative flair to remind myself I still exist.
